Job summary

Carbon Health in Roseville, CA seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging, explain procedures, and support clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow.

You will maintain radiation safety, prepare images for radiologist review, and participate in DOT certification training for urine drug screens and breath alcohol tests. ARRT registration and CPR-BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• 1+ year experience preferred.
• Current LXRT certificate.
• Completion of accredited Medical Assisting program.
• Current CPR-BLS.
• ARRT registration or equivalent radiologic credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Proposes improvements to processes and workflows.
• Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prepare images for reading by Radiologist
• Assist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flow

• Complete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests
• Proposes improvements to processes and workflows
• Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.

ABOUT YOU

• Has advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through job-related training and considerable work experience. May act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others, but is not a supervisor
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1+ year experience preferred
• Current LXRT certificate
• Completion of accredited Medical Assisting program
• Current CPR- BLS
• Licensure/Certifications:Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or have an equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing agency
