Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in New York is seeking a House Officer (Limited Permit Physician) to join our team. Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of USMLE or COMLEX exams as per NYS for limited permits.
• Eligibility for or possession of a New York State Limited Permit to practice medicine.
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient examinations, obtain medical histories, and document findings accurately.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with supervising physician.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests under supervision.
• Provide medical treatment and management of conditions as directed by supervising physician.
• Prescribe medications as permitted under scope and facility policies.
• Perform medical procedures within training and supervision.
• Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease management.
• Collaborate with nurses, physician assistants, and specialists for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with legal and ethical standards.
