Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is assisting a leader in the architectural lighting industry with a Solder & Assembly Technician role. You will support the production department, soldering surfaces, wiring, and assembling lighting components with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

The position offers $21 per hour, a 5am–1:30pm Monday–Friday shift, and the chance to develop hands-on skills in lighting assembly, soldering, and collaborative problem solving within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year proven soldering experience.
• Mechanical inclination and eagerness to learn new skills.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and adjust items up to 25 lbs.
• Capability to work in environments with varying temperatures and occasional noise.

Responsibilities

• Soldering surfaces, applying flux, and fusing components with precision according to SOPs.
• Preparing and assembling linear strip lights and wire harnesses based on layout drawings.
• Collaborating with the production team to assemble product orders using hand tools, saws, and drills.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, following safety and housekeeping protocols.
• Participating in special projects and assisting in training co-workers to promote safety and continuous improvement.
