Job summary

Prismhr Hire is seeking a QC Technician to ensure performance, reliability, and quality of IPS production products. You will work in the QC Department under the Technical Services Manager to execute QA processes across the product lifecycle and document findings for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include inspecting LED panels and lighting modules, testing for defects and performance metrics, and generating repair reports while supporting lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of live event or production experience.
• Knowledge and attention to the highest levels and best practices in quality control.
• Basic knowledge of equipment, safety limitations and operational requirements.
• Ability to work independently and supervise 1-2 technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections on LED panels, modules, lighting fixtures, motors, and audio components.
• Test LED modules for pixel defects, brightness uniformity, color consistency, and dead LEDs.
• Verify signal integrity, refresh rates, and video processing performance.
• Conduct functional testing of lighting fixtures including pan/tilt, dimming, color mixing, and strobe effects.
• Use test software and controllers to validate LED mapping and fixture functionality.
