Job summary

Shades of Light is seeking a Productions Associate to prepare and complete unfinished goods in the Distribution Center. Responsibilities include drilling glass, wiring sockets, and adding finishing touches to lighting fixtures sold in stores and online.

The role requires 1–2 years in assembly or skilled labor, ability to lift 50 lbs, and basic power tool use, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in product assembly or skilled labor preferred.
• Must be able to use basic power tools and measurement tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read plans and replicate designs.
• Must adapt to training and new techniques.
• Attention to detail essential.
• MS Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cut and drill glass based on required dimensions and specifications.
• Consult blueprints and schematics prior to work for accuracy.
• Assemble components by hand or with equipment.
• Finish lighting fixtures: painting, sockets, wires.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
