CannonDesign is seeking a lighting designer to join our multi‑discipline teams across Chicago and Houston offices. You will design lighting and control systems for healthcare, education and commercial clients, develop construction documents, perform illuminance calculations and contribute to LEED/WELL processes.
You will collaborate with architects and engineers, attend client meetings, and travel as needed.

The successful candidate will work with multi‑discipline teams across our multiple offices to deliver creative lighting solutions to clients, participating in the pursuit and project delivery for the full breadth of the firm’s project markets.
The salary range for this position is $73,800 to $92,200 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Based on the position status, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances. We have paid time off, flex‑time schedules, remote work options and a 401(k) plan and employee perk programs.
