Job summary

The E Group is seeking a Lighting Services Engineer in Tuscaloosa, AL to design, implement, and maintain lighting systems for diverse locations. You will work with clients, architects, and project teams to craft energy-efficient, compliant lighting solutions.

You will perform calculations, select proper fixtures, oversee site visits, and contribute to budgeting and documentation to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, civil, industrial or mechanical engineering is required.
• Experience in lighting design and engineering is preferred.
• Lighting design software proficiency is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design Lighting Systems: collaborate with clients and architects to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Design lighting systems that meet aesthetic, functional, and energy-efficiency goals.
• Perform lighting calculations and simulations for appropriate fixtures and layouts.
• Create detailed lighting plans, technical drawings, and specifications for contractors.
