Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking an organized Lighting Associate to support quotation and submittal of lighting packages, coordinating with the Lighting Consultant and vendors, and working with Estimating teams to ensure accurate quotes and pricing.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of the lighting supply chain, strong verbal and written communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Knowledge of the lighting supply chain or similar construction distribution experience.
• General knowledge of electrical contracting, lighting design, distribution, and construction processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Build, update, and maintain a bill of material and enter accurate pricing with guidance.
• Assist in gathering information from estimating and clients to finalize quotes.
• Prepare fixture submittals and coordinate handoff to Purchasing/Lighting Project Manager.
• Communicate with manufacturers/vendors regarding lead times, availability, and pricing.
• Create accurate quotations for Estimating while adhering to budgets.
• Maintain pricing databases and update vendor price sheets.

About the PositionLights, camera, action! We’re looking for an organized and detail-oriented Lighting Associate to join our team and help us light up skylines around the nation. This position is responsible for the quotation and submittal of lighting packages in coordination with the Lighting Consultant and works directly with our vendors and Estimating teams to ensure accurate quotes and pricing.
