Job summary

MOR PPM Inc. is seeking light/medium equipment operators in Georgetown, SC.

The Operator is responsible for proper care and operation of equipment such as Bull Dozer, Front End Loader, Backhoes and Water Truck and for maintaining a safe working environment. Location is Georgetown, SC and candidates must have 5+ years of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work safely in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment operating in an industrial setting.
• Possession of a current valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as front end loaders, back hoes, bulldozers and water truck.
• Services and performs general and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Transports and delivers materials.
• Coordinates and plans routes in an industrial setting with focus on working safely.
• Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance including tire pressure, checking oil and water levels.
