Job summary

City Wide is seeking a dependable Light Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs and routine maintenance at a private school in Palm Beach Gardens. The role requires professional conduct, organization, and safe handling of tools and materials.

The candidate should be mechanically inclined, capable of completing service requests with minimal supervision, and able to communicate with facility managers and customers in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Previous handyman, facilities maintenance, construction, or property-maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities

• Complete general handyman and light maintenance service requests.
• Repair or replace door hardware, locks, hinges, closers, handles, and weather stripping.
• Perform minor drywall repairs, patching, painting, and touch-ups.
• Install shelving, pictures, signage, dispensers, and other wall-mounted items.
