Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a Light Equipment Operator in the New York area to support active construction sites. Under general supervision, you will operate selected power equipment to move dirt, grade, and lift materials while following safety guidelines.

Candidates should have about 1 year of commercial construction equipment experience; EOE/Vets/Disabilities.

• 1 year of commercial construction Equipment Operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate power construction equipment to move, load/unload dirt, and grade, dig, or lift materials.
• Operate various light equipment (mini excavator, skid steer, roller, compactor, forklift, buckhoist, etc.).
• May perform basic repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
