Job summary

CoVolt Power in Arkansas is seeking a Light Equipment Operator to support solar and BESS infrastructure projects. You will operate skid steers, mini-excavators, and forklifts, perform routine maintenance, load/unload materials, and collaborate with site supervisors to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires safety-minded individuals who can work outdoors in varied weather, lift heavy objects, and communicate effectively with team members. Health, dental, vision insurance and PTO are offered.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Light Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of light construction equipment to assist in the completion of projects. Your expertise in safely and efficiently operating machinery, along with a strong attention to detail, will contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate light construction equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites.
• Work closely with site supervisors and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Assist with manual labor tasks as needed when equipment is not in use.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the storage of equipment and tools.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards
