Watson Truck & Supply, Inc. is seeking a Light Duty Truck Mechanic to diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair light-duty trucks and customer vehicles in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.

The role supports the Service Department with high-quality repairs and accurate documentation, using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer procedures. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of repair experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or within a team.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two (2) years of automotive or light-duty truck repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Ability to safely operate shop equipment, tools, and diagnostic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose customer concerns using approved testing and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on light-duty trucks (engines, brakes, steering/suspension, electrical, HVAC, driveline).
• Review repair orders and gather parts, tools, and materials.
• Inspect vehicles and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
• Communicate diagnostic findings and repair recommendations to service advisors and management.
• Complete repairs accurately according to standards.
• Document all repairs on repair orders.
• Use service manuals and computerized diagnostic systems to troubleshoot issues.
• Return unused/warranty/core parts per procedures.
• Maintain contact with technical support as needed.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs.
• Assist other technicians and contribute to shop productivity.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Comply with safety policies and regulations.
• Participate in ongoing technical training.
