Job summary

Mosaic Auto Group is seeking a Light-Duty Technician to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and light repairs. You will support the service department, identify issues, and communicate findings to the team to ensure quality and safety.

Prior automotive maintenance experience is preferred, with training available for developing technicians. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and a positive customer experience, working in a collaborative shop environment with adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Automotive service experience preferred; entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude may be considered.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and vehicle systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and work as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record, as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, fluid maintenance, and manufacturer-recommended maintenance services.
• Perform tire rotations, mounting, balancing, and tire repairs.
• Inspect, service, and replace brake pads, rotors, and related components within established training and authorization.
• Test and replace batteries and perform basic starting and charging system checks.
• Prepare vehicles for delivery or return to customers following completed maintenance.
• Document services performed and communicate findings to the service advisor.
