Job summary

Marvin in Warroad, MN is seeking a Light Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair diesel-powered vehicles. You will run diagnostic tests, analyze results, and repair or replace parts including braking, heating and cooling systems, and electrical components.

The schedule is evenings Monday to Thursday, with overtime on Fridays. The role requires attention to detail, physical fitness, and proficiency with maintenance tools; relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering is preferred.
• ASE Diesel Certification is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license, CDL or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to identify faults.
• Analyze diagnostic test results and determine necessary repairs.
• Repair or replace components including braking, heating/cooling, electrical systems.
• Perform lube changes, filter replacements, and tire servicing.
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure shop cleanliness.

Job Overview

Diesel Mechanics are responsible for the maintenance and repair of diesel-powered vehicles. Their duties include running diagnostic tests on vehicles, test driving vehicles to gauge performance and maintaining detailed records of the vehicles they have serviced.

We are looking for candidates with good attention to detail for the position of Light Diesel Mechanic. The primary duties include performing diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to find faults, analyzing diagnostic test results, and repairing or replacing parts, including heating and cooling systems, air brakes and electrical system components. Servicing the vehicles, lube changes, filters, and tires.

Schedule: Evenings- Monday- Thursday- 3:30 pm to 1:30 am, overtime on Friday as required
