Qualifications

  • Ability to use hand tools and soldering irons; basic mechanical assembly required.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs frequently (50 lbs occasionally).

What's a typical day as Light Assembly Worker? You'll be:

  • Performing cellular assembly operations by following specific written and verbal instructions, as well as point-of-use pictures.
  • Aligning and mechanically assembling parts into housings or PC Boards, installing components, routing and attaching wires, and replacing defective components.
  • Conducting basic hand soldering operations and using hand/power tools to assemble products.
  • Completing production records, logs, and report forms accurately.
  • Working under the guidance of a Cell Leader, rotating through work cells, and performing visual self-inspection of completed work.
  • Maintaining a neat, orderly work area and adhering to all safety and quality practices.

  • Are able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs frequently (and up to 50 lbs occasionally), and work in a moderate-noise environment.
