Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Senior Analytical Scientist to extract and analyze samples per SOPs and support bioanalytical projects.

The role acts as a lab resource and participates in method development/validation and data management. Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, training new staff, and contributing to process improvements while complying with corporate policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or College Degree in Science.
  • Good understanding of bioanalytical processes used in the laboratory.
  • Must demonstrate good computer skills especially in the utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel and analytical software.
  • Knowledge of chromatography software.
  • Experience in regulatory context.
  • English level (Quebec specific); required bilingualism includes understanding simple messages and following basic instructions.
  • Candidate who does not possess the required training and/or experience may be considered under different criteria.
  • Relative alternate certification may be considered acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Analytical Scientist is responsible for extracting and analyzing samples according to established procedures and SOPs.
  • Participate in developing and validating bioanalytical methods.
  • Document the activities related to sample analysis and assist in verifying various documents.
  • Assist in reviewing bioanalytical and method SOPs.
  • Initiate analysis runs using the appropriate instruments and software.
  • Follow up on result analysis and assist in finding solutions to bioanalytical issues.
  • Assist with the integration and revision of data using specialized computer applications.
  • Assist in eliminating the chemical and biological wastes generated by laboratory employees and help clean laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Participate in the training of new employees.
  • Assist the Supervisor Bioanalysis in the management of bioanalytical projects.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives for the laboratory.
  • Act as a resource person for the team to ensure smooth conduct of bioanalytical activities in the laboratory.
  • Perform support tasks to meet the needs of laboratory users.
  • Responsible for performing activities that are in compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Operating Guidelines and performing other duties as assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities

$56,400.00 - $95,900.00

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
