Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital, part of the HCA Healthcare family, seeks a Lift Team Technician to support patient care through lift services and environmental readiness. You will work under nursing supervision to maintain safety, cleanliness, and readiness of patient rooms for new admissions.

Ideal candidates have Alaska CNA certification preferred, with at least 6 months CNA experience in acute care, and BLS/BCLS certification.

Qualifications

  • State of Alaska CNA certification preferred.
  • Prefer 6 months of CNA experience in an acute care setting.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS/BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide lift services in direct support of the quality care experience for our patients.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and age-appropriate environment under the direction and supervision of the nurse.
  • Assist in ensuring patient rooms are ready for new admits.
  • Follow patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, universal precautions, PPE, and isolation procedures.

Education

State of Alaska CNA Certification
CNA experience in acute care (6 months)
American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS/BCLS certification

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a member of the Lift Team at our facility you will be joining a hard-working, compassionate team of caregivers. We value every member of our team and consider ourselves a family. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:
  • You will provide lift services in direct support of the quality care experience for our patients.

  • You may be asked to assist in maintenance of a safe, clean, and age appropriate environment under the direction and supervision of the nurse.

  • You will assist in making sure that patient’s rooms are ready for new admits.

  • You will follow patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use of universal precautions, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to isolation procedures.

What qualifications you will need:
  • State of Alaska Certified Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.

  • Prefer 6 months of C.N.A. experience in an acute care setting.

  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
