Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) is seeking a Lift Operator to move products within our warehouse using specialized lifting equipment in narrow aisles. You will ensure product availability for various teams and maintain safety, inventory accuracy, and efficient replenishment.

The role emphasizes following HACCP/SQF guidelines, logging activity, and operating shifts from Monday to Friday with benefits and growth opportunities at UNFI. Heavily centered on safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Safety guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of applicable Bakco functions and RF systems.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the shipping office at the beginning of each shift for daily assignment.
• Inspects assigned lift and completes vehicle inspection sheet.
• Replenishes pick slots using the view request screen or manual replenish screen.
• Performs knockdowns and removes shrink wrap from knockdowns.
• Maintains correct counts and logs inventory discrepancies.
• Verifies correct product placement in pick locations.
• Removes empty pallets and stages them properly.
• Parks and charges lift at end of shift.
• Follow HACCP/SQF policies as appropriate.
