Job summary

KAG in Toledo, OH seeks an experienced forklift operator to move large tanks and containers, load/unload materials, and assist with yard operations. This is an outdoor role requiring weather resilience and a strong safety focus.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of forklift experience, familiarity with 15k and 60k lifts, and the ability to work in shifts while maintaining teamwork and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Job description

Shift

• Tuesdays through Saturdays or Wednesdays through Sundays
• 4pm - 12am or 12am - 8am
• Training will be Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm for 3 weeks

Salary

$25 - $28.27/hour

This position will have primary responsibilities of moving large mobile tanks and/or containers within the facility by operating and driving the large heavy forklift trucks (empty and loaded) and yard mule.

Job duties will also include loading and unloading of other materials and assisting with other miscellaneous items as needed to contribute to the overall team effort of the terminal.

Pay Range & General Benefits

Pay Range: 25.00-28.27 per_hour, General Benefits: Benefits include medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage, a 401K program with company match, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity insurance.

A minimum of 2 years' experience is required. Experience with using a 15k empty lift and a 60k heavy lift is preferred.

Must have no fear of enclosed spaces or heights and possess a basic understanding of mechanical valves.

This is an outdoor position, and you will be required to work in all elements to include rain, heat, cold, etc.
