Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. seeks a Lifestyle Videographer/Editor in Greenville to capture and edit compelling video for daily newscasts and the lifestyle show. You will work with producers to integrate video elements across segments and ensure high-quality storytelling.

You will operate cameras and edit raw footage, contributing to timely broadcasts and online content while maintaining a professional presence and cooperative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in broadcasting, journalism, or related field preferred.
• Experience operating video recording equipment.
• Ability to edit raw video to newscast form to complete the story for the viewer.

Responsibilities

• Capture video and edit stories for daily newscasts and lifestyle show.
• Collaborate with producers on video elements of newscasts and lifestyle show.
• Shoot and edit news video stories, including daily news and lifestyle show segments.
• Maintain and operate camera equipment as well as company vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Confers with other personnel to discuss assignments, logistics and shot requirements.
• Sets up, composes and executes video shots.
• Edits video clips for television broadcasts and eMedia content.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
