Job summary

KEYE in Austin, TX is seeking a creative full-time Lifestyle Show Editor/ Photographer. The role blends photography, editing, and storytelling to define the visual look of a lifestyle show across broadcast, digital, social, and promotional channels.

The candidate should be a visual storyteller who can balance styled shoots with fast-paced field work, creating both short-form social content and longer-form editorial pieces. Travel, evenings, weekends, and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of shooting experience and knowledge of editing and photo equipment.
• Team-player who can shoot and edit sponsored lifestyle content with color correcting, retouching, cropping, sequencing, and optimization for multiple platforms.
• Create short-form social-first content and longer-form editorial pieces for daily lifestyle coverage.
• Must be able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds regularly.
• Collaborate with anchors, producers and the sales team on video elements of lifestyle show.
• Able to travel and work occasional evenings, weekends, or live/event schedules as production requires.

KEYE in Austin, TX is looking for a creative full-time Lifestyle Show Editor/ Photographer!

We are seeking a highly creative, fast-moving Photographer / Editor to help define the visual look and feel of our lifestyle-focused show across broadcast, digital, social, and promotional platforms.

This role is equal parts visual storyteller, photographer, videographer, and editor. The ideal candidate has a strong editorial eye, understands lifestyle content and culture, and knows how to capture everything from beautifully composed food, fashion, home, travel, and wellness imagery to candid, personality-driven moments.

You should be comfortable moving from a carefully styled shoot to a fast-paced field assignment - and then turning that content into polished, engaging stories

Requirements and Qualifications

• At least 2 years of shooting experience and technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment
• Team-player who can shoot and edit sponsored lifestyle content along with color correct, retouch, crop, sequence, and optimize imagery for multiple platforms and formats.
• Create both short-form, social-first content and longer-form editorial pieces for daily lifestyle coverage.
• Must be able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Collaborating with anchors, producers and the sales team on video elements of lifestyle show
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and assignments can change quickly.

Requirements and Qualifications

• College degree or minimum one (1) year relative experience in the field
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Sag and Mimir editing technology is a definite plus
• Ability to work with a multitude of people and personalities while maintaining a professional work environment
• Ability to travel and work occasional evenings, weekends, early mornings, or live/event schedules as production requires.
• Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record
