Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years applicable experience required.
• State regulations require industry certifications such as NCCAP or CTRS.

Responsibilities

• Design therapeutic programs based on resident interests and abilities.
• Organize scheduling of therapeutic activities for individuals and groups.
• Create activities within and outside the community to promote well-being.
• Motivate residents to participate in planned activities and update care plans.
• Ensure satisfaction through quality and hospitality initiatives.
• Participate in resident care conference meetings.
• Document assessments, care plans, and progress notes electronically.
• Recruit, orient and direct volunteers for assignments.
• Lead group and individual activity programs and track participation.
• Coordinate transportation for residents to activities.
• Publish and promote activity programs and calendars.
