Lifespace Communities in Florida is hiring a Lifestyle Assistant to energize activities and enrich daily living for residents. You will plan and lead engaging programs, track participation, and build one-on-one connections.

The role supports the Lifestyle director, coordinates trips and calendars, and communicates program details across newsletters and channels. A high school diploma and a willingness to engage with older adults are required; some experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Experience in recreational activities preferred.
• Background screening may be required for healthcare candidates under Florida law.

Responsabilités

A few details about the role:

• Plan, lead and motivate residents to participate in daily planned activities.
• Maintain accurate records of resident interaction and participation.
• Establish one-on-one relationships with residents.
• Assist the director in planning, coordinating, and implementing programs appropriate based on celebration or program topic.
• Assist in organizing resident group trips and outings.
• Create and maintain the Monthly Event Calendar.
• Communicate programming information via various media methods to include weekly, monthly newsletter, in-house television channel, postings, mailing, electronic messaging, etc.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Experience in recreational activities preferred.
• As part of the hiring process and in accordance with Florida law, healthcare candidates who accept a job offer are required to complete a background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
