Job summary

Obsolete Site is offering a training position for a certified lifeguard at White Sands. The trainee will work under close supervision, participate in all required training, and must complete mandatory certifications within 30 days.

Upon completion, the incumbent will be reassigned to Recreation Aid (Lifeguard), PD #3206, to guard guests at an assigned aquatic facility. Training includes Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED from recognized providers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to swim and participate in the lifeguard certifications.

Responsibilities

• Training: Lifeguarding and First Aid per recognized standards.
• Complete mandatory certifications within 30 days of employment.
• Upon certification, reassigned to Recreation Aid (Lifeguard), PD #3206.
• Support safety and supervision at assigned aquatic facility as required.
• Maintain awareness of environmental safeguards and PPE use.
