Job summary

Woods Services in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Lifeguard to maintain a safe swimming environment, teach groups during instructional swim, and supervise clients during recreational swim.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ years of age, current lifeguard/CPR/First Aid certifications, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. On-site benefits include health coverage, retirement plan, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Current driver's license required.
• Minimum of one year experience with the developmentally disabled preferred.
• Current certification in Advanced Lifesaving or Lifeguard training from American Red Cross, YMCA or Ellis & Associates, W.S.I., CPR, and First Aid required.
• Pesticide Applicator's license is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Care, maintenance, and cleanliness of all pools and pool areas.
• Keeping up-to-date records of the Monthly Summary Pool report.
• Keeping careful and accurate records of clients' progress.
• Planning, organizing, and implementing recreational games.
• Enforcing all pool and facility rules and regulations in the swimming pool area.
• Ability to plan and adapt programs for the clients.
• Supervision of clients during recreational swim.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
