Job summary

The Lifeguard at Jobvite, Inc. provides professional and courteous service to guests while maintaining aquatic safety for all patrons in a Las Vegas resort setting.

Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down pool decks, following emergency procedures, maintaining vigilant supervision of the pool area, assisting guests, knowing resort offerings, attending training, and supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain all required Nevada work cards (Health)
• CPR/First Aid training required or obtainable
• Lifeguard certification and first aid training expected

Responsibilities

• Promote and uphold company service standards at all times
• Set up pool decks before opening and breakdown after closing
• Follow emergency procedures and maintain constant pool area surveillance
• Assist guests with requests, offering suitable alternatives and seeking help when needed
• Know resort features, outlets, hours, activities and events
• Attend required training and assist other departments as needed
