Job summary

ACAC - Atlantic Coast Athletic Clubs is seeking a lifeguard in West Chester to help protect members and deliver a safe, welcoming pool environment. The role emphasizes vigilance on the stand and caring for swimmers while following club policies.

The ideal candidate will hold current lifeguard, CPR, AED and first aid certifications and demonstrate strong customer service. Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to support the club’s busy schedule.

Qualifications

• Prior lifeguarding experience preferred.
• Current Lifeguard, CPR, AED and first aid certifications.
• RedCross Lifeguard certification preferred.
• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Sustaining an alert and professional appearance on the lifeguard stand at all times.
• Responding to emergencies using rescue techniques and equipment.
• Taking the initiative to assist members in lane allocation.
• Completing daily water chemistry readings & daily cleaning tasks.
