Six Flags Over Georgia is seeking a lifeguard/water safety attendant to monitor swimmers, respond quickly in emergencies, and help guests safely board and exit water attractions. The role emphasizes guest safety, crowd flow, and timely dispatch during busy periods.

The position requires swimmers with good endurance, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay is hourly with opportunities for advancement and staff perks.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 15 years or older.
• Must be able to swim 200 yards in 15 minutes, retrieve a 10-pound brick from the bottom of a pool, tread water for two minutes, and lift yourself out of the pool.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to earn the Special Facilities Certification.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must have flexible schedule to work nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays when needed.

Aufgaben

• Keep a close eye on swimmers in the wave pool and other water attractions.
• Act as a first responder and jump in the water to keep guests safe.
• Assist guests in and out of rafts and cycle through the line efficiently.
• Calculate the proper dispatch interval between riders.
• Provide guests with a safe and enjoyable ride experience.
• Keep ride patios and midways clean and looking great.
