Job summary

Army Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) employees are seeking a dedicated lifeguard for the on-site aquatics facility. The role focuses on guest safety, supervising pool areas, and responding to emergencies with first aid as needed.

You will attend aquatics and safety trainings, communicate safety rules to swimmers, and follow installation procedures for discipline while maintaining health standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess current lifeguarding and first aid certifications.
• CPR for the professional rescuer with AED or equivalent required.
• Must keep all certifications current throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Guard pool guests and provide maximum surveillance.
• Respond to emergencies and administer first aid as required.
• Attend aquatics/safety training and follow installation customer service standards.
• Inform swimmers about safety rules and enforce disciplinary actions per SOP.

Education

Lifeguarding and First Aid certification (American Red Cross or equivalent)

CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED or equivalent
