Job summary

Bally's Lake Tahoe in Stateline is seeking a dedicated lifeguard to ensure guest safety and pool area care. You will monitor water activity, enforce rules, perform rescues if needed, and support opening and closing duties.

Requirements include a current lifeguard certification (maintained during employment). A High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Company-paid certifications are provided as part of career development.

Qualifications

• Must have current lifeguard certification and maintain certification while employed.
• Company-paid certifications are available.
• Ability to assist with pool opening/closing and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activity and enforce rules to ensure guest safety.
• Respond to emergencies, perform rescues, and provide CPR if needed.
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and pool area maintenance.

• Must display knowledge of the pool facility such as length and depth of all pools.
• Assist with the opening and closing of the pool area, including straightening and stacking chairs, collecting dirty towels and trash, moving chairs, boxing towels, cleaning signs, etc.
• Participate in pool safety programs, training and documentation to ensure the overall safety of the guests.
• When necessary, may be required to rescue a guest from drowning, perform CPR, mouth to mouth or administer first aid.
• Other related duties assigned.

• $25.00 per hour
