The Dubuque Community YMCA is seeking a part-time Lifeguard to maintain a safe pool environment and provide positive, welcoming service to all members and guests. The role requires Lifeguard/First-Aid/AED/CPR certification and includes complimentary YMCA membership for employees.

Responsibilities include surveillance, adherence to safety procedures, record keeping, and assisting with routine checks and maintenance.

Formación

• Minimum age of 16.
• We reimburse for Lifeguard certification courses and related first aid training.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain active surveillance of the pool area and ensure safety.
• Respond to emergencies in accordance with DCY policies.
• Perform equipment checks and test pool chemicals when not guarding.
• Keep accurate records as required by DCY and health department.
