Job summary

Goldfish Swim School in Needham, MA is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure the safety of patrons through constant surveillance and prompt emergency response. You’ll wear the Goldfish Swim School uniform on duty and receive paid training with opportunities for advancement as the school grows.

Responsibilities include enforcing facility rules, providing EMS-level care when needed, maintaining a clean, safe environment, and assisting with closing duties.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with children.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Must pass background examinations (included with training).

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility and respond to emergencies.
• Communicate facility rules to patrons.
• Provide emergency care and treatment until EMS arrival.
• Ensure EMS or other medical services are contacted when necessary.
• Present a professional appearance and high level of customer service.
• Complete accident/incident reports as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe facility and assist with closing.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
