Job summary

American Pool Enterprises is hiring lifeguards to monitor pool areas, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies during the summer season in the United States. The role requires current lifeguard certification, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid.

You will provide friendly customer service, maintain certifications, and assist with pool maintenance as needed. Flexible scheduling is offered, with shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard certification required (American Red Cross or equivalent).
• CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid required.
• Strong vigilance, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas to ensure patron safety and prevent accidents.
• Enforce pool rules and maintain a safe swimming environment.
• Respond to emergencies including water rescues and first aid.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
• Inspect facilities and report safety concerns.
• Complete incident documentation and water testing as needed.
• Provide friendly customer service to patrons and guests.
• Assist with outdoor duties and general pool operations.
