Job summary

The Alaska Club is hiring Lifeguards to ensure pool safety in our facilities. This is a part-time role with flexible hours and no prior work experience required, ideal for students or parents seeking part-time work.

We offer a sign-on bonus for certified lifeguards and opportunities for additional hours as a Swim Instructor. As a Lifeguard, you’ll supervise swimmers, coordinate with teammates, and maintain a safe environment on the pool deck and in the water.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to swim free-style / crawl stroke.
• Red Cross Certification (provided by The Alaska Club).
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Supervising patrons in pool during open swim, lap swim, swim lessons, and water aerobics.
• Supporting fellow Lifeguards and cooperating as a team.
• Standing and moving on deck and in pool.
