Job description

British Swim School is focused on teaching water survival skills to children and adults. This is year round indoor employment.

Requirements

• 16 years of age or older.
• Completion of lifeguard training.
• Relevant experience is preferred
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Able to interact with people of various ages from diverse backgrounds.
• Available to work Morning and Evening shifts as well as Weekend shifts

Responsibilities

• Overseeing activities at the Woodlands Aquatic Center.
• Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations and policies to ensure safety of the members
• Maintaining order in swimming areas.
• Responding to emergencies and rescuing swimmers in danger of drowning.
• Performing first aid procedures.
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of all areas.
• Maintaining records and reports.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
