Job summary

The Army NAF is seeking a Lifeguard to oversee safety at aquatic facilities on Island of Oahu. You will guard indoor and outdoor pools, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies under the Installation Aquatics Program Manager.

The role includes assisting with swimming and water survival training as an aide and supporting safety drills. Applicants must hold Lifeguarding and First Aid certifications (ARC or equivalent) and CPR for the professional rescuer/AED.

Qualifications

• Lifeguarding and First Aid certification through ARC or equivalent.
• CPR for the professional rescuer/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lifeguard for indoor and outdoor pools under the Installation Aquatics Program Manager.
• Provide maximum pool area surveillance and respond to emergencies; administer first aid as required.
• Assist in aquatic training and swimming lessons as an aide.
• Attend safety training and maintain pool and area cleanliness.
• Perform water tests and inform swimmers about safety rules and procedures.
