Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross Deep Water Lifeguard Certification with First Aid and CPR/AED, or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Enforce all pool rules and prevent injuries.
• Provide patron surveillance during swimming.
• Respond to injuries and emergencies; contact Senior Lifeguard for assistance.
• Instruct swimming, water safety, and aquatic programming.
• Perform cleaning duties and attend in-service training.
• Provide courteous guest service and assist with information.
• Operate ticket sales booth and handle cash.
• Maintain venue cleanliness and supervise events.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
