Job summary

Midwest Pool Management is seeking an Indoor Daytime Lifeguard in Warrenton, MO. The role focuses on guest safety, enforcing pool rules, and maintaining a welcoming environment at our facilities in the St. Louis area.

The position is part-time with flexible hours between 5 AM and 3 PM and pays starting at $15.50 per hour. Applicants must be at least 15, able to swim, and available for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided, and a uniform is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 15 years of age or older by the date of their Lifeguard Certification Class
• Ability to swim
• Available to work part-time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong observational skills to ensure safety guidelines are followed
• Strong verbal communication skills to positively engage with guests, team members, and management
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and transport 50+ feet to perform rescues or move equipment/chemicals safely

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all guests at the facility by enforcing policies, rules, and regulations
• Recognize and respond effectively to emergency situations
• Participate in regular in-service training (minimum of 4 hours per month)
• Keep facility clean, organized, and visually appealing
• Proactively assist guests by answering questions and providing directions
• Maintain knowledge of facility programming: swim lessons, family fun days, water aerobics, swim team, tot time, river walking, and other activities
• Represent Midwest Pool Management and the assigned facility in a professional manner at all times
• Arrive to work on time and prepared, knowing your schedule
• Wear the required company uniform while on duty

Schedule & Pay

• Schedule: Mornings/Afternoons - Flexible hours between 5 AM and 3 PM
• Employment Type: Part-time, Year-Round
• Pay: Starting at $15.50 per hour

Certifications & Training

• Lifeguard Certification required (StarGuard Elite or equivalent). Lifeguard training is available and must be successfully completed prior to working
• The Certification Course covers emergency response, first aid, CPR, and AED use - skills that are essential for responding quickly and confidently to emergencies
