Job summary

Goldfish Swim School in Tacoma is seeking a dedicated lifeguard to keep our pool area safe for children and families. You will monitor patrons, enforce rules, and respond quickly to emergencies while delivering friendly, professional service.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a positive experience for guests of all ages. We offer paid on-the-job training, flexible scheduling, and a culture-driven workplace that values teamwork and development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains constant supervision of patrons in the facility and ensures safety; acts quickly in emergencies.
• Communicate the rules of the facility to patrons clearly and consistently.
• Provides emergency care and treatment as required until EMS arrival.
• Ensures EMS or other emergency services are contacted by the appropriate means.
• Presents a professional appearance and maintains high standard of customer service.
• Completes accident/incident reports as necessary.
• Maintains a clean and safe facility as directed.

Primary Lifeguard Responsibilities:

• Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; immediately inappropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of an accident or emergency.
• Communicate the rules of the facility to patrons fairly inconsistently.
• Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.

• Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.
