Job summary

The City of St. Peters is seeking a Lifeguard Attendant to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment at our indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities. You will monitor pools, respond to emergencies, enforce rules, and provide friendly customer service while supporting training and certification opportunities.

No prior lifeguarding experience is required; the City offers Lifeguard Certification through Jeff Ellis & Associates for qualified candidates, plus background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Previous lifeguard experience preferred, but not required.
• Must complete Jeff Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Certification prior to starting.
• Must demonstrate the physical ability to perform lifeguard duties.

Responsibilities

• Enforce facility rules and safety procedures professionally.
• Recognize and respond quickly to emergencies.

As a Lifeguard Attendant, you'll be responsible for monitoring pool areas, responding to emergencies, enforcing safety rules, and providing great customer service. LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION TRAINING AVAILABLE!
No previous lifeguarding experience is required. The City provides training through the Jeff Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Certification Program for qualified candidates.

Normal Shift: Varies based on facility and operational needs.
