Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA in Montgomery County is seeking lifeguards aged 16+ to ensure pool safety and provide vigilant supervision during open swim. You will need American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or the ability to complete the course, plus strong swimming ability and a commitment to safety.

The YMCA offers a supportive team environment, training, and opportunities for growth. This is a part-time, on-site role with flexible opening shifts and member benefits including access to YMCA

Qualifications

• Age 16+.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or ability to pass the course.
• Passionate about safety around water and strong swim skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and surveillance of all pool participants
• Understanding and applying organizational safety procedures for the pool deck and aquatic areas
• Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the pool deck, including skimming and brushing
