Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a vigilant Lifeguard to supervise pool areas, enforce safety rules, and respond quickly to emergencies. You’ll be poolside every shift, watching swimmers and modeling safety, teamwork, and positive guest service.

Qualifications

• Evening and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of all patrons and respond immediately to emergencies.
• Provide emergency care and first aid until EMS arrives and coordinate with EMS appropriately.
• Communicate facility rules to members and guests in a welcoming manner.
• Inform management of incidents accurately and timely.
• Keep the facility clean, safe, and organized throughout each shift.
• Contribute to delivering a gold-standard experience for every guest.

Job Title: Lifeguard

Reports to: Deck Supervisor

FLSA Status: Part time, Non-Exempt

Summary

We’re looking for an alert, dependable, and safety-first team member to join us as a Lifeguard. This role is the backbone of what we do. You'll be poolside every shift, keeping a watchful eye over our swimmers, and creating a safe environment where kids and families feel confident in the water. If you take safety seriously, show up ready to lead by example, and genuinely care about the people around you, this role is for you!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain constant, focused surveillance of all patrons in the facility and respond immediately and appropriately to any emergency.
• Provide emergency care and first aid until EMS arrives, and ensure EMS is contacted through the most appropriate means.
• Communicate facility rules to members and guests fairly, consistently, and with a welcoming attitude.
• Inform management of any incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility throughout every shift.
• Help drive our mission and ensure everyone has a Golden Experience while in the building.

What We’re Looking For

• While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat, humidity, and chlorine. Noise level is usually moderate.
