School District 197 is seeking a Lifeguard at the District Aquatic Center. The role focuses on monitoring aquatic activity, enforcing safety rules, and maintaining a safe environment across various swim programs and rentals throughout the year.
The position requires Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid/CPR/AED certifications, and eligibility to work (age 15+). The lifeguard will report to the Aquatics Program Coordinator and participate in regular in-service training.

Job Summary:
The primary focus of the Lifeguard position will be to monitor aquatic activity and ensure a safe environment at School District 197 Aquatic Center. Lifeguards will oversee multiple swim activities including but not limited to swim lessons, open swim events, water exercise programs, lap swimming and various rental activities throughout the calendar year.
