Job summary

Asbury Communities is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard for weekend shifts to ensure pool and locker room safety. The role includes daily chemical checks, upkeep of pool area, and assisting members entering the pool or spa. Certification maintenance and CPR/First Aid readiness are required.

Position is PRN/Per Diem with pay at $15.25 per hour; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K with match, PTO and paid holidays. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard Certification required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• First Aid training required or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Guards and maintains a safe environment in the pool area and locker rooms.
• Performs lifesaving, CPR, or first aid skills when needed and maintains current certifications.
• Performs daily chemical checks, cleaning and maintenance of pool area as scheduled. ( including putting away equipment and checking laundry in the fitness room)
• Maintains required pool records.
• Assists any pool members requiring any help entering or exiting the pool/spa.

Schedule & Pay

• PRN/Per Diem
• Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays 12:00pm-4:00pm (flexible)
  • Available weekdays 1:30-4:30 as needed (afternoons)
• Pay: $15.25/hour
