The YMCA Lifeguard at the Atchison Family YMCA is responsible for protecting swimmers, preventing accidents, and creating a welcoming space for members and visitors.
Certification is provided if not already earned, including CPR/First Aid and Lifeguard training. Candidates must be at least 16 and able to pass a physical competency test. Training and opportunities for advancement are available.

**Candidates who are not certified may be hired at at a $15.00 training rate then increased after becoming certified.
