Job summary

Brailsford & Dunlavey in San Francisco, CA seeks a Project Manager to lead life sciences projects from planning through completion in a hybrid role.

You will coordinate owners, design teams, contractors, and consultants, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure alignment with client goals across the full project lifecycle. This position offers exposure to laboratory facilities, GMP environments, and complex stakeholders within a nationally recognized program management firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management, real estate development, construction, architecture, or related fields
• Experience managing life sciences environments (labs, GMP spaces, clean rooms)
• Understanding of design and construction processes and contract administration
• Experience coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Ability to analyze project data, identify risks, and propose practical solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and project teams

Responsibilities

• Lead life sciences project management initiatives from planning through completion.
• Serve as a liaison between owners, design teams, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and procurement activities.
• Draft and negotiate contract documents for design, construction, and consultants.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with client goals and objectives.
• Coordinate meetings and maintain clear communication among stakeholders.
• Provide regular project updates to clients and officials; mitigate risks.
• Support business development through networking, proposals, and client interviews.
