Job summary

Mace is seeking an Executive Operations Director, Life Sciences, to lead growth of Mace Consult’s Life Science business across the Americas, building trusted client relationships and strategic partnerships.

The role combines business development with strategic oversight of project delivery, leading capture planning, proposals, and large-scale projects while mentoring leaders and advancing governance, risk management, and commercial performance.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of professional Life Science project experience in the US or globally.
• Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven success in work winning and growing Life Science portfolios.
• Experience as Project Manager/Director on medium to large Life Science projects.
• Strong commercial acumen including contract negotiation and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced knowledge of program management and governance frameworks.
• Full budget and financial management experience.
• Leadership in coaching and building large multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholders and drive innovations.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth of Life Science business across the Americas.
• Build trusted relationships with Life Science clients and partners.
• Develop market strategies aligned with regional priorities.
• Build a strong pipeline of large multidisciplinary Life Science opportunities.
• Lead capture planning, proposals, and pursuit strategies for multimillion-dollar fees.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
• Cross-sell services and support Life Science pursuits nationally.
• Represent Mace Consult as a Life Science market leader.
• Oversee project performance, client satisfaction, governance and delivery outcomes.
• Drive commercial performance through fee management, forecasting and risk controls.
• Mentor leaders in client engagement and commercial management.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
