Job summary

IPS is seeking a Construction Project Manager for a project site near Emeryville, California. You will lead construction activities, coordinating with the Project Director and Senior Project Manager to drive safe, on-time, and on-budget project delivery.

Required is a strong construction background, a proven safety and quality focus, and a commitment to engaging clients throughout the project lifecycle. 25% travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Project Delivery or a related discipline.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related discipline.
• Significant experience in both terms of industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractual requirements, project specifications, and design drawings.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, procurement, billing, and cash flow projections.
• Conduct progress measurement, earned value analysis, schedule updates, and change management reporting.
• Prepare project documentation, including meeting minutes, monthly reports, and applications for payment.
• Oversee contract administration, punch lists, warranty review, and as-built documentation.
• Monitor project resources, maintain scopes of work, and communicate expectations across the team.
• Track and report on project costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and field conditions.
• Build and maintain client relationships and participate in schedule, safety, and quality oversight.
• Collaborate with Project Services on cost management and support safe project execution through coordinated site oversight.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required to support successful project delivery.
