Job summary

Real Staffing is partnering with a Boston-area client to appoint a Business Development Lead to drive growth and expand market presence across molecular biology reagents, custom research products, gene-detection assays, and DNA sample-collection technologies.

You will identify opportunities, manage customer relationships, develop materials with R&D and Marketing, and support sales initiatives to build a scalable pipeline and contribute to long‑term revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Business Development Expertise - Lead the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting and market mapping through to opportunity qualification and closing, ensuring a strong and scalable pipeline of new business.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Confidence, initiative, and clear, professional presentation
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and updating technical and sales materials (brochures, datasheets, presentations, and web content) in coordination with R&D and Marketing
• Develop and maintain business leads through outbound outreach, inbound inquiries, trade shows, and scientific conferences
• Conduct field visits and virtual meetings with prospective and existing customers to support business development
• Log sales activity, opportunities, and forecasts in the CRM system, and prepare periodic reports for management
